Girish K. Hiremath, MD, FAANS, is a board-certified neurosurgeon with expertise in minimally invasive spine surgery. He also has a special interest in epilepsy and brain tumor surgery.
He is interested in developing partnerships to enhance neurosurgical education between United States based neurosurgeons and neurosurgeons in India.
Dr. Hiremath is board certified by the American Board of Neurological Surgeons. He received his Medical Doctor degree from Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine in Rootstown, Ohio. He completed a residency in neurosurgery at Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio, and a fellowship in minimally invasive spine surgery at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, Michigan.
Dr. Hiremath lives with his wife in Columbus. He enjoys cooking, traveling and spending time with his family.
