Deeksha Agrawal, MD is a board-certified neurologist with specialty training in epilepsy. She also provides comprehensive treatment for other neurological conditions including headache, dementia, stroke, movement disorders, multiple sclerosis, and neuromuscular disorders. She also has a special interest in reading electroencephalograms as well as performing electromyograms and nerve conduction studies. Dr. Agrawal obtained her undergraduate degree at Youngstown State University and completed her medical education at Northeast Ohio Medical University in Rootstown, Ohio. She then spent time at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania for residency training in Neurology as well as fellowship training in Clinical Neurophysiology. During her medical career, she has served as Chief Neurology Resident and has received a number of honors including the Neurology Resident Excellence in Teaching Award in 2015. In addition to her many awards, Dr. Agrawal is currently a member of the American Academy of Neurology, the American Clinical Neurophysiology Society, and The American Medical Association. Dr. Agrawal focuses on establishing a strong therapeutic alliance with her patients, while delivering compassionate and evidence-based care. She believes in getting to know her patients and educating them and their families throughout their entire course of care. When not spending time with her patients, she enjoys cooking, traveling, and spending time with friends and family.
