About
Dr. Vipin Koshal has been with OhioHealth Heart and Vascular Physicians since 2009. He is also an Assistant Professor of Specialty Medicine at the Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine (OU-HCOM), where he enjoys teaching and mentoring the future physicians of our country. Through his collaboration with OU-HCOM, he is able to participate in a variety of research trials that often benefit his patients. He is passionate about empowering his patients to make lifestyle changes to improve their heart health. Traveling, cooking, running and tennis are just some of the activities he enjoys with his wife and three children. Dr. Koshal was born in Athens, Ohio, where he has now returned to practice to take care of those who once took care of him.
Philosophy of Care: OhioHealth Heart & Vascular physicians and surgeons work closely with their patients to help them understand their conditions and treatment plans. They explain findings and recommendations in terms patients and family members can understand. They offer a personal, compassionate approach, caring for patients as if they were family.
