Angela Hardwick, MD, is a board-certified neurologist specializing in movement disorders, specifically Parkinson’s disease, essential tremor, atypical causes of Parkinsonism, and dystonia. She also has special interests in Huntington’s disease and Tourette’s.
Dr. Hardwick is trained in Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS) surgery and Duopa™ therapy. Her philosophy of care is to treat every patient the way she would want her own family member to be treated while under the care of a physician or provider.
Dr. Hardwick received her undergraduate degree from DePaul University in Chicago, Illinois, and her medical degree from Howard University in Washington, D.C. She completed her internship and neurology residency at University Hospitals Case Medical Center in Cleveland, Ohio. In addition, she completed a fellowship in movement disorders at the University of Florida Academic Health Center in Gainesville, Florida.
Prior to joining OhioHealth Physician Group, Dr. Hardwick served as Director of Movement Disorders at Norton Hospital – Cressman Center for Parkinson’s Disease in Louisville, Kentucky.
She is currently a member of the Movement Disorder Society and the American Academy of Neurology.
In her spare time, Dr. Hardwick enjoys sewing, trying new recipes and listening to audio books.
