Sexual and Interpersonal Misconduct/ Title IX

About Title IX

Title IX is a federal civil rights law that prohibits sex discrimination in education programs and activities funded by the federal government. OhioHealth’s Medical Education Program is committed to an environment free from discrimination based on sex, gender, sexual orientation, gender expression, or gender identity. OhioHealth is committed to equal opportunity in its Medical Education Program, and to providing a safe and inclusive learning environment free from discrimination and harassment and gender-based violence.

OhioHealth’s Medical Education Program has avenues for reporting Title IX concerns, and support for those involved while concerns are reviewed and resolved. Reporting can be done in person, or by mail, telephone, or email. Reporting can be verbal or in writing and made at any time. Anyone can report, whether the alleged offense occurred to them or someone else.

No person in the United States, on the basis of sex, shall be excluded from participation, be denied the benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination under any educational program or activity receiving Federal financial assistance.
