Atrial fibrillation (Afib) is a common type of heart arrhythmia that affects millions of people. It can cause symptoms which may decrease your quality of life and can increase risk for stroke and heart failure. Early diagnosis and treatment may help prevent the progression of Afib.
Quick and comprehensive diagnosis
This nationally recognized clinic is the first in Ohio to use this unique model of care to provide a multidisciplinary approach to a full range of treatment options and personalized care in state-of-the-art facilities with a focus on providing in-depth disease education to patients.
Our model of care uses a multidisciplinary team of providers to offer quick access for patients experiencing acute episodes of Afib that require immediate evaluation or support and is intended to reduce unnecessary emergency department visits and hospitalizations. We also see patients with new or chronically diagnosed Afib to discuss available treatment options to reduce risk of stroke and provide arrhythmia management solutions with medications, procedures and risk factor modification.
