Sumaiya Salim, MD is a board-certified neurophysiologist with more than five years of experience. She has additional certification in epilepsy, epilepsy monitoring and traumatic brain injury. Her special interests include epilepsy, seizures, stroke and neuropathy.
Dr. Salim treats each patient with empathy and provides education to help them remain active partners in their care. She always strives to use a multidisciplinary and integrated approach that addresses all of her patients’ needs.
Dr. Salim received her undergraduate degree from Rochester Institute of Technology in New York and her medical degree from American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine in St. Martin. She completed Seton Hall University’s neurology residency and a neurophysiology fellowship at JFK Medical Center in Edison, New Jersey.
In her spare time, Dr. Salim enjoys playing with her kids.
