Shnehal Patel, MD is an experienced, board-certified neurologist with fellowship training in movement disorders. His special interests include Parkinson's disease, Essential Tremor, Huntington disease and dystonia. Dr. Patel is also trained in providing botulinum toxin injections for conditions such as chronic migraine, cervical dystonia, hemifacial spasm, blephoraspasm, head tremor and spasticity.
Dr. Patel chose a career in movement disorders because of his innate love of caring for people. He is committed to taking the time to understand your condition and how he can support you and your family.
Dr. Patel received his undergraduate and master's degree from the University of Pittsburgh in Pennsylvania and his Doctor of Medicine degree from Penn State College of Medicine in Hershey, Pennsylvania. He completed his neurology residency at Jackson Memorial Hospital/University of Miami Hospital in Miami, Florida, where he also served as chief resident. His movement disorders fellowship training was completed at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Ohio.
In his spare time, Dr. Patel enjoys spending time with his family, exercising, cooking and traveling.
