Dr. Sarah Coffey (she/her) is a primary care physician who has been in practice since 2017. A native Ohioan, she grew up in Dayton, Ohio, and completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Dayton (Go Flyers!). She earned her doctorate degree from Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine, in Athens, Ohio, where she was named “Outstanding Student” in 2014. She completed her residency training in Family Medicine at OhioHealth Doctors Hospital in Columbus, Ohio, and was the recipient of the Ohio ACOFP’s “Family Medicine Resident of the Year” award in 2017.
As an osteopathic physician, Dr. Coffey believes in a holistic approach to healthcare and understands the importance of treating all aspects of an individual, including mind, body, and spirit.
She currently resides and practices in downtown Columbus and sees patients ages 16 and older. Her interests include preventive care, chronic disease management, mental health, gynecology, and LGBTQ+ health.
Beyond her medical practice, she enjoys traveling, going to concerts, spending time with loved ones, and spoiling her cats. She is also the co-chair of the OhioHealth Gender Affirmation Council, which strives to promote an inclusive environment for all patients and employees.
Dr. Coffey is board certified in Family Medicine and Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine.
