Dr. Gregory K. W. Lam is best known for his care and deep commitment to his patients, for which he has been recognized with several patient care awards since joining OhioHealth in 2009. Dr. Lam currently serves as the medical director of Cardiovascular Services at Berger Hospital in Circleville, Ohio, where his clinical interests include heart disease prevention, congestive heart failure, vascular medicine, valvular heart disease and women's health.
In addition to caring for patients, Dr. Lam teaches Cardiology Fellows with the Doctor's Hospital Cardiology Fellowship Program and mentors medical students from The Ohio State University School of Medicine and the Ohio University Heritage College of Medicine. He is an adjunct assistant professor of medicine at Duke University and The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center.He also is a researcher with the McConnell Heart Health Center, where he serves as the principal investigator of two clinical research trials.
Dr. Lam is a member of the American College of Cardiology, the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society and the American Association of Physician Leadership. He is the recipient of the American Heart Association Scholar Award, the American Medical Association National Leadership Award and the 2012 Columbus Business First Forty Under 40 Award. In his spare time, Dr. Lam struggles at golf and enjoys spending time with his wife and two sons.He resides in Dublin, Ohio.
