Dr. Yun You Li has practiced with OhioHealth Physician Group Heart and Vascular since 2007. He is a Fellow and member of the American College of Cardiology (FACC).
Dr. Li is board certified in Cardiology with subspecialties in Nuclear Cardiology and Echocardiography. He completed his Internal Medicine Internship and Residency at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, Shadyside Hospital in Pennsylvania, and completed his Fellowship in Cardiovascular disease at The Ohio State University Medical Center. His specialty interests include Coronary Artery Disease, Valvular Heart Diseases, Congestive Heart Failure and Cardiovascular Imaging including Nuclear Cardiology, Echocardiography, and CCTA.
Dr. Li completed research projects in Cardiomyopathy and Congestive Heart Failure funded by the American Heart Association and the National Institute of Health. His research findings were published in PNAS, Circulation, American Journal of Physiology and American Journal of Cardiology.
Dr. Li is passionate about community service as well. He has volunteered his time at free church clinics, mission and teaching trips to China. Outside the practice of cardiovascular medicine, Dr. Li enjoys playing badminton and traveling. He is fluent in Mandarin Chinese and uses it in his medical practice to communicate with patients and their families. Dr. Li is married and has one son who is a radiologist.
