Bassel F Shneker, MD

Dr. Bassel F. Shneker is an experienced board-certified Neurologist and Neurophysiologist who received his medical degree and his Diploma of Qualifying & Specialization in Community Health from the University of Damascus in Damascus, Syria. He completed his neurology residency and epilepsy fellowship training at University of Virginia. He completed his Masters of Business Administration (MBA) at The Ohio State University.

He is a member of the American Academy of Neurology and American Epilepsy Society. Throughout his medical career, Dr. Shneker has published and contributed to numerous journals, abstracts and clinical trials.

Dr. Shneker believes he provides the best care by connecting with his patients and establishing a long term relationship. He tries to take the time to explain to his patients their medical condition and help them understand what they should expect moving forward.

Dr. Shneker and his wife, Reem, have two sons. He enjoys spending time together as a family. He also enjoys playing soccer and traveling.
