About

Dr. Kevin Stiver is a board-certified interventional cardiologist who joined OhioHealth in 2016. His primary interests include complex coronary interventions and structural heart procedures. Dr. Stiver treats patients that are having a heart attack by putting a stent in the heart, using the artery in the wrist (PCI). He also performs minimally invasive surgery (TAVR and MitraClip) to help patients with stiff or leaky valves (aortic stenosis) in their heart. Dr. Stiver also performs general cardiology functions including assessment of the heart before having any type of surgery, heart disease preventive medicine and office evaluations for symptoms relating to the heart.

Dr. Stiver is also a physician informaticist and is an active member of digital and virtual health initiatives at OhioHealth. He is a physician builder for our electronic medical record (EMR) system and serves as a board member for the national Epic (EMR) cardiology steering committee. Outside of work, he enjoys exercising and spending time with his three children, wife Corey, and dog Lucy.
Philosophy of Care: OhioHealth Heart & Vascular physicians and surgeons work closely with their patients to help them understand their conditions and treatment plans. They explain findings and recommendations in terms patients and family members can understand. They offer a personal, compassionate approach, caring for patients as if they were family.
