Alex Perchuk, MD, is a board-certified neurologist with additional fellowship training in vascular neurology. His special interests include acute inpatient stroke management and post-acute stroke care.
Dr. Perchuk served as a combat medical specialist in the United States Army prior to starting medical school. The experience of managing emergencies combined with opportunity to provide continuity of care to his patients inspired his interest in vascular neurology.
Dr. Perchuk received his undergraduate degree from William Paterson University of New Jersey in Wayne, New Jersey, and his medical degree from West Virginia University School of Medicine in Charleston, West Virginia. He completed an internship, residency and his neurovascular fellowship at The Ohio State University Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio.
When Dr. Perchuk is not caring for patients, he enjoys traveling and spending time with his family and three dogs.
