Meet Jean Halpin
President, OhioHealth Grant Medical Center
Jean Halpin provides strategic and operational senior leadership as president of OhioHealth Grant Medical Center, OhioHealth Bone and Joint Center at Grant, other outpatient clinics and Emergency Medical Services across the OhioHealth System. Jean has been with OhioHealth for 33 years, serving in a variety of positions across the system. She is a servant leader who’s driven by her values, a humble curiosity and a commitment to excellence.
Since 2022, Jean’s strategic and operational leadership as Grant’s Chief Operating Officer has been integral throughout all areas of the hospital. This includes championing both the planning and success of the Grant 2028 Impact: Access to Care for All project. Other career highlights for Jean include her instrumental role in the development of OhioHealth’s outpatient division and serving as President of OhioHealth Mansfield Hospital during the hospital’s integration into the OhioHealth system in 2014. Jean was named one of the 15 Most Powerful and Influential Women of Ohio in 2014 by the National Diversity Council.
When Jean is not at work, you can find her at the gym or trying new restaurants with her family. She is also passionate about community health and serves on the Columbus Public Health Board of Directors.
